Michael & Laura

Here is the absolutely beautiful wedding of Michael and Laura.  It was an absolute privilege to be involved in their special day, one I'm sure is going to stay with me for a very, very long time.

We started our day at the Bride's home, where the music was pumping and the girls were laughing, no nerves here!  The home was so amazingly organised and was such an ease to move around and get shots of all getting ready.  Whilst there the cars were being organised outside, and there was so much excitement from this 'Ford' family, I even had trouble getting my sidekick back in to help me, lets just say we have quite a few car shots from his camera ;)

From there we headed to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at Maryland for the ceremony which was very beautiful.  Michael and Laura had a lovely talk prepared by a very special and close friend.  Once the proceedings had concluded and family shots were done, we headed off with both sets of parents and the entire Bridal party to a couple of locations throughout Newcastle.

We had an absolutely glorious day - and it was a real treat to head into Newcastle for some shots.  But the treats didn't stop there.  First stop, we had a lovely police officer, offer to have some 'shots' with the Bride and Groom and their cars... we had a hang glider at Newcastle Beach come in close for some shots... and a random passerby with an awesome red vintage Ford Cobra offer his car for a few shots too!  How cool is that!

The reception was held at Harbourviews Function Centre, and was stunning watching the sun go down over Newcastle with tugs coming to and fro.

Michael and Laura, thank you so much for entrusting your special day with us, we felt very privileged and grateful to be there to witness and share in such an honorable and special day with both of you and your families.

You'll notice there are a few more photos then what I normally post on here, but I simple loved all of these shots, and I know you guys will be keen to see as many as you can, so...

Enjoy the sneak peeks! x

Clayton and Elleas

Here is the wedding of this lovely, lovely couple.  We had torrential rain with us for the entire day - no break in the rain, yet this couple and their bridal party still had fun, beautiful smiles and enjoyed their day.
We started the day with the beautiful Elleas and her family getting ready.  We then headed over to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Morisset for the very lovely ceremony.  I loved that Elleas had her brother sign the certificates and paperwork for her, it was very sweet!
After that our plans for beach photos were cancelled due to the weather and so instead we found somewhere out of the rain!  Im sure the rain was coming down sideways at one stage!
After our photos we headed over to the new Charlestown Bowling Club where the reception was held. The function room looked amazing.  The food was unbelievably good and it was such an enjoyable night.

Special mention:  the cake! Oh my goodness it was amazing, Elleas' sister Jess made it, she is so clever!!

Lukas and Elisa

This is the lovely wedding of Lukas and Elisa.  We had a week of horrible weather, but on their day the sun was shining and it was lovely and warm.
We started at Elisa's place with her lovely family.  Everyone looked lovely and were all very relaxed.  The ceremony was held at a beautiful beach near Nelson Bay.  They simply couldn't have asked for a better day for a beach wedding it was such a lovely spot.
The amazing thing is that Elisa's grandparents have a home right on the beach.  So they had all the guests in their backyard for drinks and refreshments whilst we got some photos.
The reception was held at the Kookaburra Function Centre at Bob's Farm, I was really impressed with the set up of this venue, they had it looking lovely and what an atmosphere when the sun starts to set and seeps through the trees!
Lukas and Elisa - thank you for allowing us to capture your special day, enjoy your honeymoon and we will see you soon!

Ciara

This is little baby Ciara, she is a beautiful little thing, isn't she?  I think I enjoyed my snuggle time with her as much as capturing her sweetness!

Matt and Eboni

Its been a LONG hiatus from this blog!  We have still been busy here, capturing stories, memories and weddings but needed to take a break from publishing our work.  I want this blog to be a positive place that reflects my passion for this art form.  So I will not go into the reasons for the break here and now.  But please be assured it was purely based on protecting my copyright and artwork.

On a much happier note...

This gorgeous girl is the 3rd daughter of four.  And she is my cousin.  So I had to share her beautiful wedding.  It was one of the weddings we photographed on our break from this blog.  I have photographed the weddings of her two older sisters, so she will probably look familiar to many of you. Its coming up to her first wedding anniversary soon - so happy (early) anniversary! x

Mitch & Daniella

Here is the lovely wedding of Mitch and Dani.  We woke up to a horrible day - wind, torrential rain, not what you want on your wedding day!

So off we headed down to Sydney and the weather did not improve.  We started our day at the Brides home, they were ready nice and early and all was calm.

Then we headed over the the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at Collaroy.  The ceremony was beautiful and everyone looked lovely.

We then had to be brave and head out into the weather.  The poor girls would have been freezing, but they were so happy and cooperated all day long.  They looked lovely in their lemon coloured dresses.

The bride wore a lovely handmade crocheted cape for some of the photos and to try to stay warm! But at the end of the day as the reception was beginning the weather made up for its behaviour somewhat - check out the beautiful sunset!

Well Mitch and Dani, here is a sample of your wedding photos, we hope you like them and we were most impressed at your positive and happy attitude toward the weather and being out in it for the photos!  Enjoy x.

Aloha

Well as usual we are taking the month of May off here at Belinda Webster Photography.  We are looking forward to some time to rest and relax.  We have some grand plans in store for our time off and we may just post a couple of picks when we return to business as usual Monday 4th June, 2012. Bx

Well here is a glimpse of what we got up to, we kept the whole thing a surprise from our girls until they were actually on the plane.  I don't know how - but they never had a clue.  We told them we were there to see their Grandparents off (we went with them) and that they could have a quick look on the plane. They fell for the whole thing!!
