Not too long ago we had the privilege of travelling down to the south coast to photograph this wedding.
We made a little detour to the Brides home, where she was getting ready an hour away from the ceremony's location. It was a beautiful home with views that were unbelieveable. The atmosphere was happy and so tranquil, just like the surroundings.
The little flowergirl was so adorable and excited to be part of such a special occasion.
Unfortunately as we were all preparing to head off south for the ceremony, there was an absolute downpour! It eased slightly but we had the company of the rain for the day.
The ceremony was lovely and the hall was full to the brim of friends and family there to share this day with the lovely couple.
The bridal party looked amazing and the colour theme (tangerine and oranges) looked amazing up against the navy colours of the hall.
After the ceremony the bridal party loaded themselves into the Kombi's and we headed off to find some locations out of the rain for photos.
I was so pleased that the weather didn't phase these beautiful people, they had so much fun and so many laughs on the photo shoot, and the rain eased just long enough for us to run down to the beach for a few photos.
I really enjoyed the privilege of meeting you all and your lovely families and had so much fun capturing this special day. Enjoy x.

We awoke on the day of this wedding to a downpour, that didn't look like it was going anywhere! I was hoping that the bride was relaxed and calm, because who wants to let a bit of rain spoil their wedding day!
The weather started to ease as we arrived where the bride was getting ready, by the time she was ready to leave for the ceremony - there was blue sky everywhere! Even though she was already quite relaxed, she was so happy to see that sky.
The ceremony took place on a local foreshore under a rotunda. It was a lovely setting. The bride and groom and other members of the 'bridal party' looked stunning. The flowergirls and pageboys looked gorgeous! A touching moment was when the bride, standing there with her groom, took her dad by the hand. Quite a crowd gathered around to watch the proceedings, proving the point that everyone loves a wedding.
We had a lovely time photographing this wedding, it was intimate, and beautiful and the family, especially the mother of the bride and her beautiful girls are obviously very close, it was lovely to capture this special connection and day. Enjoy x.
